Rev. Sherry Boles - Pastor
Pastor Sherry is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and has been a pastor in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1992. Before she heard God’s call to the pastorate she worked in the business sector. She understands life from the real world and integrates that experience in her preaching and teaching.

Dallas Beck - Minister of Visitation
Dallas has been a minister since 1959 when he entered full time ministry as a pastor in Miller Station, Pennsylvania. He moved to Chattanooga in 1983 with his wife and family and joined us here at St. John in 1987. He became our minister of visitation in 1999.

Melissa Martin - Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries
Melissa joined St. John in 1994 when her father came to serve as pastor. She became very active in the youth group and hasn't left since. She joined the staff in 2004 and enjoys seeing young people grow and mature both physically and spiritually. She enjoys sports and incorporates sports and games into the Youth ministry as often as possible.

Debby Aldridge - Preschool Director
Debby has served as the preschool director since 1999. Prior to coming to St. John, she served as director for Kindercare Learning Center for 15 years. She believes that the preschool is a wonderful ministry for the church and the surrounding communities. She is dedicated to providing a loving Christian environment for the children.

Judy Reich - Director of Music
Judy taught high school choir for 42 years. She has a love for all forms of music and is accomplished in playing and teaching piano, organ, handbells and guitar as well as vocal coaching. She has been on staff at St. John since 1988.

Adele Shaw - Children’s Choir Director & Wednesday Night Coordinator
Adele has served as the children’s choir director since 1999. Under her guidance the Wednesday Night Children’s Choir program has grown to include Bible studies and activities. Handbells and percussion instruments are also a fun addition for the children. She also directs the children in Christmas and the end of the year plays and programs.

Dale Dye - Director of Family Ministries
Dale has always had a love for children of all ages. Before coming to St. John he served 6 years as a Director of Youth Ministry at the church where he grew up. He joined the St. John staff in 2003. He has lived in the Chattanooga area his entire life and currently resides in East Brainerd with his wife and daughter.
